Ghaelach

Ghaelach was born in the north of England of Irish parents. After leaving school and going from apprentice to tradesman in the metal industry left his newly gained skills and went on what was his short life time passion. He followed the seven seas for a few years untill finding what he thought was the love of his life and having three wonderful children where after that big love faded as so often happens.

Ghaelach started working for a firm that had contracts all over Europe which meant being away from home for many weeks on end. It seems that fate came into play and while working in Koeln/Cologne Germany at the Ford motor works met a young woman that eventually was to be his companion - friend - lover - wife for the next 22 years and is still in love with her.

His life took a turn in 2002 after an OP on his left ankle. The after treatment was not very hygienic and ended with the world famous hospital problem "MRSA" (info by Wikipedia). This problem left him a cripple with a condition that the doctors call "Chronic Osteomyelitis" which being chronic will stay with him till the end of his days, however long that will be, who knows!!!

One might say that the only good thing to come out of it all, is that he will never work again but can enjoy this freedom although he paid a high price for that freedom.

While being away from home at an early age he learned the art of letter writing. His mother used to say he could talk the hind legs of a donkey. Then one day he stumbled onto Hubpages web site and that is when a new chapter in the life of Ghaelach began.
